Are you using FB Messenger as a communication tool in your business?
YOU ARE CRAZY if you’re not…
Did you know that 2 BILLION messages are exchanged between customers and businesses every single month.
Messenger usage has jumped from 4 million users in 2014 to 1.2 BILLION users as at April 2017.
In 2015 messenger apps surpassed the usage of the top 4 social media apps.
What does all this data tell us?
The data actually “screaming” at us that as businesses, we must be on messenger and have it as a communication tool for prospects and customers to use.
Think about it like this…..
If you are not currently using Facebook messenger in your business it is just like deciding not to pick up the phone when people are calling you at work.
If you are not currently using Facebook Messenger in your business it is just like deciding not to pick up the phone.
Yup sorry, we don’t like the phones, so we just aren’t going to answer them.
We prefer the older forms of communication like fax technology so either contact us via fax or else make your way into our office/shop/business.
See CRAZY…. You just wouldn’t do it.
Get your business on Messenger and have it as a normal part of communication between yourself and the rest of the world.
It’s only going to get bigger…If you are a big Facebook user, think about how often you use the messenger app to get in contact with friends and family.
When I think about my own usage, I definitely use Facebook Messenger and iMessage above any other form of communication.
Luckily for you I’ve created a really quick video to show you how to add your Facebook Page’s unique URL to direct people straight to your FB Messenger.
You can add this url to your email signatures, on all of your social media platforms or any printed material you might still be using.
Watch the video below to find out exactly how to do it.
After getting your unique Messenger URL out into the world, you can automate your messages between your business and potential or current customers with some cool and fairly new technology called a 'chat bot' that can totally automate the “everyday” messages that you might have with someone.
For example….
- Booking an Appointment (directly into your calendar)
- Getting your exact location (by adding a link that takes them to you on a map with the click of a button)
- Taking up an offer you might have for new customers or to reignite old customers.
- You can also integrate it with a couple of payment systems so you can take bookings and a payment all before a client or customer even gets to you.
There are so many applications chat bots can be used for and if you’d like to have a chat to find out how they might work for you send me a message using the link below ⬇️ ⬇️ ....
^^See what I did there 🤣
I’d love to know what you think about messenger and how we can use it in our businesses.
Drop me a comment below and share your thoughts.
Cheers
