Password Trick (special trickery to save you lots of frustration)

Today, I wanted to share a tool that I use every single day called LastPass

It's actually a tool that has saved me so much time and energy not only in remembering my passwords, but when I need to share a login or a password, I can do so without actually having to share the password.

Go and open up yourself an account with LastPass. It's free to do so.

There's also an app that comes with it.

There is a smart watch app that comes with it as well and makes it super easy to use.

The main thing you've gotta remember is to create a master password that's fairly difficult, but easy for you to remember. That's the one password that you need to remember.

Anyway, so I use LastPass not just for remembering my passwords, but I actually use it for sharing logins to people.

If I outsource any of my work and I go and get someone from Upwork or Fiverr or wherever or even if I want to share log in data with a friend, what I do is I actually share the password with them without showing the password.

I'll show you how that works. Once you've got an account set up, and you've got all your accounts shared here, I mean saved here. Any passwords that you need to save. They're all saved in here.

We might use this one for example.

Udemy because I've bought a few courses there and I've got a girl that I might tell her go into this section of course and I want you to learn this so that you can, but I don't actually want to give her my Udemy login details.

What we do is, once you've got everything set up, LastPass has saved everything for you, you just hit the share button here and we type in the person's email address and we don't click on Allow Recipient to View Passwords.

What that does is it allows a person to log into the site without actually seeing the password. We go share, and it has sent them an invitation.

If at any time you wanna stop giving a person access to a site, all you need to do is either go through this section here, or the other section that I just clicked on before.

We go to Sharing Settings and I might want to actually remove the person here that I'm sharing with. That says, are you sure you want to revoke access? Yes, I'll revoke access from that website. It's in the middle of revoking access from that website. You can see here, share revoked.

You can share websites, logins without actually sharing a password. It saves your passwords. Whenever you log into an account that either hasn't saved a password for, it will prompt you and say, do you want LastPass to save this password for you? I always go yes, it makes it easy. I've got then all my passwords, everything that I need passwords for, within my LastPass site.

I can go in and change my password at any time. Makes it really easy, really safe and I never have to remember a password. Even if I'm on my phone, I can log in and view a password if I need to log into something on my phone and I don't know what the password it.

That's a little tip and trick that will help you out like nobody's business. Yeah, all I can say is get on and use it. It's amazing. Protect your passwords, share passwords without sharing passwords.
