A quick post today. I saw this on Pinterest so decided to make up my own. I am definitely a “procafinator” rather than a procrastinator. All jokes aside though if you are able to do your top 3 things that need doing each day you will find that you are way more productive. Even if you are not a list making kind of person you could set yourself up with a schedule of things you need to get done each day such as.
1. Make 5 Sales Calls
2. Make 5 Follow up Calls
3. Send out birthday cards to everyone you know who is having a birthday during the next month (you could even use the system I have been using for years that makes it really easy to send a hand written note or card to someone. You can read about it here)
4. Write a post/article for your web-site or blog
5. Record a video for your web-site or blog
6. Write down something that you have (knowledge) in your head that you can create a product out of. By the way it doesn’t need to be something really huge. You might just write down 3 or 4 really great tips that you could give to someone that could make a difference for them in the area that you work in. So for example, if you are a real estate agent you could write down as many ideas as you can think of that will help someone selling their house to get a better price. Then you create an awesome looking document with those tips and using that document you could then create a facebook ad that would lead prospective vendors to your web-site in exchange for that document. You now have a “list” of people to engage with and build a relationship with who could either be vendors themselves or have friends and family members who they would be more than happy to refer to you.
I know that’s more than 3 but you get the gist. Get focused and do your top 3 things each day.
